We use only grade "A" materials from well known manufacturers and quality suppliers.
Examples of the range of materials available
Our family has been in the business of building quality driveways and leisure areas for over 30 years.
Sometimes it's the things you don't see that are the most important such as proper ground clearance, adequate sub-base material, ground compaction, drainage, correct thickness of blocks and paving.
We advise on the right product to use for each area of the project.
For example load-bearing paviors for driveways and more decorative paving for leisure areas.

England only.
In recent years the paving of lawned areas by householders has led to increased flooding because the ground no longer slowly soaks up rainfall. Impermiable surfaces direct rainwater to the drainage system which can become temporaily overloaded in a storm.
From October 2008 new rules applied to England for householders wanting to pave over their front gardens. This legislation states that driveways must have adequate drainage if there is any possibility water is able to run onto public paths or highways.
Currently the English regulations are not compulsory but are only advisory in Wales.
If you are planning work in the near future you need to be aware that these regulations are currently under review and may change soon.
